Colleen Hazeldine
      Bio:
Colleen has been riding since she was a young girl, riding Hunter/Jumper at first and then moving into Dressage. Carrying the basic principles of Dressage with her, she went on to raise, train, and show Anglo Arabs. Colleen moved to her first farm in Sherwood Park and continued working with this breed. Realizing she had a knack for matching horses with people, most of her horses went on to find everlasting homes with youth or amateur riders.

Even though Colleen had spent most of her life riding hunter horses, she fell in love with Western Pleasure. Switching to Quarter horses, she qualified for the Quarter Horse World Show. In 1993, she changed breeds again, discovering the color of the American Paint Horse. Over the past 18 years, she has continued to raise, train, and show this breed at the world level as well as the World Wide Paint Horse Congress. She still loves to coach youth and amateur riders to the level they dream of, whether it means forming a beautiful partnership between horse and rider or developing a high level champion.

Colleen enjoys helping anyone who wants their relationship with their horse to become a solid, trusting, and rewarding experience. She has helped many horses and their riders become top competitors in Western Pleasure as well as in Hunter Under Saddle. Colleen has vast experience in Showmanship, Trail, and Equitation as well.

Carl Woods
      Bio:
Carl began riding at the age of five, riding English by age 10 while attending school in England. As a sixteen year old, Carl was employed as a groom and exercise boy for a 3-Day Eventer from Vancouver Island. At the same time he began competing in rodeos.

Due to his connection and acquaintances from the rodeo arena, Carl began breaking colts for people at age eighteen. This was a large factor in his horse training career today.

By age twenty, he graduated from the Oklahoma Farrier College thus rounding out his experience in the horse industry.

During the early 1990's, Carl rode with the late great Cutting Horse man Jimmy MacDonald, training and competing in several arenas, from the Canadian National Appaloosa Show to Cuttings & Team Penning.

In the last 12 years, Carl has focused on Quarter Horse and Paint Horse breed shows, Reining and Working Cow Horse competitions, and some Team Roping during the slower winter months.
